Why do we need safety mats?

If your inflatable is on hard standing such as artificial grass, concreter or a wooden floor, you are required to all fall off points of the inflatable covered by a safety mat [BS EN14960]. Although this only required on hard standing, it is best practice to use mats on all surfaces when possible.
